Google’s car has no steering wheel

You must have heard of Google’s self driving car up till now, the cars that drive by themselves, without any need of a driver.
Google has been working on this car from quite some time now, it has already traveled around 700,000 hours since it was first started in 2009.
It’s an all electric car so the only source of energy is the electrical energy and it is already evident that electric cars are the future.
Google’s self driving car runs on with software, sensors and GPS working together in sync with each other, so as the car drives itself the steering wheel or pedals or even an accelerator is not needed and is absent in the new prototype.
Just push a button and the car starts driving, you just need to sit on the car and relax and with all the usual driving stuff missing you can use the driver’s seat as a new seat in the car to sit and relax, maybe you can keep a check on the car, whether the car is driving well or not.

Terminator Polymer : scientists develop a polymer that heals itself

Terminator
Well you must have seen some SciFi stuff in movies, like terminator in which the robots or cyborgs, whatever you want to call them, can heal themselves, you hit a bullet, a hole is created and then soon in just a few seconds it gets back to normal.
A Spanish team of scientists have developed a polymer that can just do similar stuff, its not a metal but somewhat plasticky, it is technically called "Permanently cross linked poly(urea-urethane) elastomeric network", in short "Terminator Polymer".
The behind the scene details of the project might be complex for some of us to understand and most surely will be patented so getting to that is a little tough but the result looks cool and that is what matters.

save webpage as pdf free
Reading articles is helpful but reading an article while surfing could be a little mood distracting, but you really don't want to loose that article. Yes you can use some bookmarking services or article saving services but what better to have an offline copy of the article with just a few clicks and if you are into keyboard shortcuts just cmd+p or ctrl+p.

move around with 27 Inches TABLE PC from Lenovo

Lenovo has introduced a 27" touch screen device running Windows 8 at CES 2013, which they call a Table PC or to be exact, a MULTI-USER, MULTIMODE, MULTITOUCH TABLE PC. It can be configured as high as, 3rd generation Intel Core i7 Processor with 8GB of RAM and storage of up to 1TB running Windows 8 Pro. It has a 27 inches full HD 1080p resolution display with multitouch with 16:9 widescreen ratio. It sounds like a good all-in-one PC but the name table PC is somehow suggesting that is a mobile device and it even has 2 hours of battery life.

new Apple product line after iPad mini, a quick look

Here is a quick look at the Apple event which held yesterday 23rd October 2012. It was a day of announcements with some disappointments for the Apple fans. The event started with some news on Apple products with some intros and all, then it was the iMac time. iMac was the first device on the event and really was a jaw dropping design, such a thin design of the new iMac, it was really impressive. Then came the turn of the macbook, the new 13 inches macbook Pro was announced with the retina display as expected with specifications similar to the 15 inches macbook retina display, but still the older generation of the macbook is still available in the market for those who are not interested in the new gorgeous retina technology.

Google to Bing to Google a quick comparison

A few months back I changed my search engine form Google to Bing, just to try out something new with web search, its not that I got bored of Google but was looking to test out other options. Bing was surely not a bad option to try out for about 2-3 months but I really missed Google because of some irrelevant results from Bing.

TweetDeck app for Google Chrome and a little story after twitter acquired it

TweetDeck was one of my Favorite, in fact the only client I used for a while for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Buzz and Foursquare. TweetDeck was quite a popular app and Twitter thought of buying it because people were not landing on Twitter, rather they were happy tweeting from TweetDeck.

Some changes in Google search while I was with Bing

A few months back I decided to make a move from Google search to Bing search and test out how good is bing and can web search be something other then Google. I tested out with Bing for around 2-3 months, without using Google at all, but finally I kinda got frustrated with Bing search results and switched back to Google search.
