Samsung smart watch coming September 4, earlier than Apple

Samsung is reported to be working on something smart, and its a watch that can make calls, browse the web, handle emails and run some apps. The smartwatch came into the picture with rumours that Apple is working on a smartwatch and soon be making an announcement about it, but there is no Apple in the smartwatch market till now and Samsung is all set for an announcement before Apple.

The watch will be running Android, giving it the power of a smart device. Bloomberg has reported that the device might be named as the Galaxy Gear.

The name Gear mean instead of being an individual gadget it could need a smartphone to make it work, acting more like an accessory for your smartphone, something similar to what Google glass does.

Apple and Google are one of the most trusted brands but the time is changing for both Google and Apple at least in the US. Apple's 4.8 inches iPhone rumours with 3 iPhone releases

According to the latest statistics from market research firm Strategy Analytics the quarter III sales of the Samsung Galaxy S III have surpassed iPhone 4S sales. This is the first time a smartphone has taken the top spot from Apple's iPhone, but their is a reason for this low sale of Apple's iPhone which made the top spot possible for Galaxy S III.

During this period the rumors were on top for the iPhone 5 release and even the release was just around the corner, which forced people to wait for the new iPhone 5 instead of buying the 4S. The statistics shows that Samsung has sold around 18 million Galaxy S III during the 3rd quarter of 2012 and on the other side Apple has sold 16.2 million iPhone 4S.

iPhone 5 to officially reach India on 2nd November

So finally the wait is almost over for the latest version of the Apple's iPhone hitting the Indian markets on November 2. The iPhone 5 will be available on Aircel and Airtel and the good news is, it will also be available unlocked all across India at various resellers.

No official price of the iPhone 5 in India is reveled but the expected price is somewhere around 45,000 for the 16GB model and 65,000 for the 64 GB iPhone.

Here is a quick look at the Apple event which held yesterday 23rd October 2012. It was a day of announcements with some disappointments for the Apple fans. The event started with some news on Apple products with some intros and all, then it was the iMac time. iMac was the first device on the event and really was a jaw dropping design, such a thin design of the new iMac, it was really impressive. Then came the turn of the macbook, the new 13 inches macbook Pro was announced with the retina display as expected with specifications similar to the 15 inches macbook retina display, but still the older generation of the macbook is still available in the market for those who are not interested in the new gorgeous retina technology.

Apple iPad event official now, on 23 October

Apple now has got a little more to show us, this is the most expected event for the iPad mini. Apple is going to host an event on 23rd of October in San Jose, California and the invites are already sent out. The event will start at 10 AM and all the apple fans are expecting a smaller, cheaper version of the iPad, the iPad mini. Although Apple hasn’t revealed anything on this event and not even saying true to the rumors of the iPad mini but it is going to be the smaller iPad.

Apple copies Swiss Railways Clock design in iOS

Apple has been one of those companies taking actions against the copycats of their design but this time Apple ended up in the receiving side of things. Apple copied Swiss railway operator SBB's trademark station clock’s Design and took it to the iOS clock, the design of the clock is by Hans Hilfiker who holds the trademark for this design since 1944.

Samsung all set to file complain against Apple over iPhone 5

So its time for Samsung to file some patent violation cases against Apple on the use of 4G LTE in the new iPhone 5. Samsung has conformed that it will soon take action in California court after they fully inspect the iPhone 5 as soon as it gets available.

Although it is not certain that Samsung will find something significant against Apple or not, but Samsung expects its lawsuit will cover 8 patents.

iPhone5 shipping date slips after just one hour of pre-order

The iPhone5 was just released a day back and it is already out for pre-order but the shipping date has been delayed due to high demand in the US.

The pre-order was live and the shipping date was 21st of September, but after just an hour of pre-order the shipping date just got a shift to a one week or so.
